Youth Corps Homes

It is a program of the Department birthed in 1999 with a concept of creating an opportunity for Cornerstone Leadership Academy alumni to practice what they had learnt in the two years that is to say, servant leadership and character Development and create meaningful relationships among children going through difficult times. These include former street children, children who have suffered abuse including sexual abuse, those sexually exploited and under privileged children.

This is a program that provides loving homes for homeless street kids from all backgrounds. Currently we have 4 homes with 3 mentors each. The children get a place to sleep, a ‘family’ to belong to and are taught a better way to live – in line with the principles, precepts of the person of Jesus. They are supported to get an education, are also challenged to do community service work in their neighbourhoods and communities.
